Rao Bahadur is a sincere attempt to tell a story in a distinctive manner. The idea is admirable, and the climax justifies much of the film’s thematic ambition, with Satyadev delivering a performance worthy of applause. However, the painfully slow narration, overstretched screenplay and self-indulgent storytelling make it a tiresome watch.
