• …on the face of it, “Atomic Blonde” is more of an interrogation film, rather than an espionage thriller and thus with Lorraine revealing the turn of events, the plot gets predictable and thus loses its spark.

  • A big disappointment for both the fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali.
They both need to think about what to do next. In separate rooms, please.

  • For its 139-minute duration, the film seems stretched. The narrative is reiterated in the last act, making the viewing a tedious fare.

  • The set piece of the opening act, an inter-dimensional bazar known as Big Market are a few scenes that show the potential power of Besson’s transporting vision. But they all feel like manic decorations meant to stimulate and distract from the glaring deficiencies of the characters and the story.

  • …with the enemy not shown, Dunkirk is a cleverly made film that’s worth watching in an IMAX or on a 70mm Projection.

  • …with a run time of two hours and forty five minutes, there are moments when you inadvertently end up snatching forty winks.

  • The production quality of the film befits the Yash Raj Films label, and the background score, in parts, creates the adrenaline charged atmosphere, befitting a thriller.

  • The songs in the film are hummable and the film, as expected, with excellent production values is all gloss and fluff but low on substance.

  • The end credits promise – Guardians of the Galaxy Will Return, but if this streak of its storytelling continues, one is not sure if you’d be looking forward to it.

  • Overdramatic and convoluted…Vidya Balan in the title role, as expected, is impressive and effortlessly convincing.
