It does get a bit too much at times. But don’t mind. Bhaiaji Deol wants Bhabhiji Zinta back at any cost. All blazing guns and spoofy drama, this is where you want to go this weekend if you looking for some cheesy fun.

The Crimes of Grindelwald is a build-up for fans, as JK Rowling prepares them from the great war between Grindelwald and Dumbledore. Why should you watch it? To quote Grindelwald, “Because you crave for something new.”

Ryan Gosling’s Film Sends Us Over the Moon…

Thank deity of choice then for Tom Hardy. His Eddie Brock/Venom and their pitch-perfect ‘best frenemy’ dynamic is the only reason this film doesn’t have a mere one-star rating. Hardy, who’s made something of a career out of breathing life and personality into faceless/masked characters is in his element here (he also does Venom’s gravelly voice). And since the actor has signed off on two more Venom films, we can only hope the (different) makers of those films give Hardy more face(less) time.

Kamal Haasan is one of the most versatile actors in the country, but he misses the target by a mile in Vishwaroopam 2.

Mulk isn’t original cinema, it’s not even its own film, but it’s a much needed reminder and lesson that we live in a secular nation, something that we always strive for.​

Deadpool 2 comes as a sweet relief as it focuses on saving one child from himself with Deadpool’s distinct ‘merc with a mouth’ manner. Grosser and more coherent with its plotline, the sequel of 2016 blockbuster hit is everything fans were expecting and more.

Perhaps a watertight script and logic-backed ending could have saved this so-called thriller. Nevertheless, a decent effort by Abhyankar.

And, with its themes of family and fidelity, it’s so much more than just a chills and thrills flick. It’s about the very real fear parents have about bringing up kids in a world overrun, if not with alien monsters, with horrors beyond counting and somehow teaching them the skills, and sense of hope, they need to survive and prosper.

Extremely poor direction and writing from Toleti and Dheeraj Rattan are just the top of the iceberg of this ill-executed film. It doesn’t have any flow or sense. Given it’s a comedy, I don’t think I laughed more than twice the entire movie, thanks to Riteish Deshmukh and his comic timing.

Anyhow, this movie was a complete waste of time and the 300 bucks I spent on the ticket. Watch it on your own risk.
