Without any iota of doubt ‘Mary Kom’ is Priyanka Chopra’s best act ever, her exceptional act in the movie does more than make you think about boxing as a sport and women as sports person, it makes you see it to believe them and respect them.

Handsomely helmed by Pradeep Sarkar and terrifically performed by Rani Mukherjee, ‘Mardaani’ is a fiercely arresting action thriller that holds the flag of women power high. Must watch.

No winners here-except the audience who get a thrill-a-minute front seat view on some of the most disheartening developments that take place in a small city. It took over two years to film this documentary and a lot of it was snipped at the editing table- yet there’s no denying the fact that the completed vision is completely engrossing. More power to the directorial team of Deepti Kakkar and Fahad Mustafa.

Adding action packed, raw and roaring glory to the immensely popular brand ‘Singham’ story, ‘Singham Returns’ to roar bigger and better. ‘Roar’ (go for it).

With a run time of two hours and fifty minutes, the usual areas of concern would be undoubtedly the screenplay; something if has gone haywire can wreck the movie’s goodwill. However Karthik takes the journey quite entertaining jarring a few sequences makes the wholesome experience delicious.

An unconventional film, this film is refreshing as it is not formulaic. Above all, it is gripping and keeps you hooked throughout.

2 States is a feel good, determined, marvelously performed and very affectingly rich emotional romance filled with desi ethos that says great love has to undergo doubt, trials, and hardships to gain its deepest rewards it’s not about communities it’s about people, love, faith and acceptance. Gift (watch this ) with someone you love.

‘Dedh Ishqyia’ is creatively the best continuation of B-town’s popular series after Munnabhai. It is vintage, refreshing, stirring, satisfying, witty, edgy, stylish and open-minded, sexy, snaky and oomphy. B.O. may continue to feel proud for its ‘Dhoom’ by those masala ‘Dabangg’ entertainers but nothing is cinematically as satisfying as ‘Dedh Ishqyia’ in the B-town series and desi spaghetti con genre.

Give this film a chance. It tells a lot without speaking much.

What impresses from beginning till the end of this effort from debutant director Maneesh Sharma is the fact that never once does ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ leave it’s own character. It retains a certain authenticity to it throughout its length that makes the proceedings believable and the kind that one can easily relate to.
