• Other than adding to the glam factor, Shraddha Kapoor does little to enhance the film. Shahid Kapoorshines, but only when the second half commences. Yami Gautam as the lawyer opposing Shahid Kapoor seems inadequate

  • It’s a risk to not follow Bollywood’s tried-and-tested formula. While it does win Rampal brownie points, this will not be enough to turn the film into a success at the box office. It can’t exactly be termed as Gawli’s biopic, because so much of his life is missing from the film. Nor can one say that it is entertaining as it offers nothing new. Watch it to see Rampal in one of his best performances till date, for a story without frills and only if you have a penchant for crime dramas.

  • If you are a Gurmeet Choudhary fan you will be disappointed, so I’d suggest you skip the movie and wait for the actor’s next film. According to me, the movie lacks soul i.e. the story, barring which it makes for a decent watch. See it only if you have nothing else to do this weekend.

  • Without Barun, there is clearly nothing to see in the film and hence recommended only if you are a Sobti fan. If not, Main Aur Mr Riight is definitely not for you. And it should never be featured among rom-com movies.

  • On the whole, the movie is not a box office spinner and may not be able to create an impact. However, it will make a good DVD watch.

  • On the whole, the movie is truly touching and worth a watch. It may not be a blockbuster but would be ideal for a DVD viewing.
