A serious and sensible debut film by director Parvin Dabas, Sahi Dhande Galat Bande is offbeat and fresh

On the whole, the movie is not a box office spinner and may not be able to create an impact. However, it will make a good DVD watch.

Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, on its own merit, blends the moodiness of Yeh Saali Zindagi and visuals of Khosla Ka Ghosla, a film that Parvin acted in but wish had picked a few chops from.

It’s a bit like a pocket dynamite - small, but effective. Give it a shot.

On the whole, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is a dull fare with not much novelty. The lack of face value will only add to its tale of woes.

On the whole, SAHI DHANDHE GALAT BANDE is what I would call a topical, socially responsible, thought-provoking cinema. A film that has scope for discussions and debates. It addresses, quite successfully at that, an existing critical issue that the country faces -- the effect of dislodgment of people. A decent watch!

Sahi Dhande Galat Bande is a kind of unique effort. It teases the conscience awake. It’s a warm and honest film that looks with unblinking directness at issues which are more relevant now than ever. If Anna Hazare were to see this film he would surely smile.
