• Rating this movie is beyond my call… but for the record it is 5 stars which in a way limits the brilliance of this movie.

GOUR HARI DASTAAN, The Freedom Files is a movie worth going miles to see.

  • DRISHYAM is a spot-on crime thriller that has some ‘heart-in-your-mouth’ moments. It’s set up in a made-up village called Pondolim in North Goa. What’s satisfying about the entire screenplay is that what Vijay is doing on screen is what you will do for your family.

Nothing less; after all, family is all that we have!

  • Every character leaves his or her mark on the screen including Jhonta (Nikhil Sahani), the little orphan who works with Pathak.

The end leaves you craving for more. MASAAN is worth going miles to see!

  • …plays on your emotions and tugs at your heart. Hours after you walk out of the theatre, the performances by Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui stay with you.

  • Epic is an underrated word, used to describe trivial achievements in today’s day and age. In Hollywood, epic is BEN HUR. In Indian cinema, epic can now officially be called BAHUBALI.

  • I loved I LOVE NY. You may too. Give it a try. This is Sunny Paaji at his vintage best. Kangana, ofcourse is now in a league of her own.

Pre-conceived notions can sometimes be damaging!

  • …is a surprise packet with decent performances; there’s honesty in its approach.

  • …is entertaining no doubt, but lacks that special Kapoor touch…

  • … may not find its audience with the typical, commercial, Bollywood masala filmgoers, but with the metros and the urban crowd, it’s sure to be a monster hit.

Go on, let your heart beat!

  • Anand L. Rai had other plans. He returns with a sequel that is rip-roaring, hits a raw nerve and is entertaining, entertaining, entertaining!
So are there any flaws. Of course, but this is one film where overall brilliance overshadows these flaws.
