• All in all, it’s a film that had potential to be a sweet love story. However, this one doesn’t quite get there because it’s not passionate enough on any count—be it in its social messaging–or be it in the romance.

  • If you are looking for substance, then this one has no logic, only magic. But, if you’re looking to just laugh and be merry, Golmaal will again do the trick.

  • If you world revolves around your mother, you’re going to root for this film. Go for it girls.

  • Chef is predictable in parts, the journey is an enjoyable one. Choose what you wish to eat while watching it. Popcorn or some of that delicious pasta which Roshan K whips up in a jiffy.

  • Lame lyrics, loud gags and leggy lasses never really hurt anyone. Believe me, at one point, you’re tempted to join Varun when he is doing those perfect pelvic thrusts. Judwaa 2 could be a substitute for your Dussehra party. Consult Salman, even he sportingly shows up in a cameo in the end.

  • Watch Bhoomi for Dutt. He’s from that era of larger-than-life heroes who get you to whistle even when he is killing people. You may not approve of his thirst for blood but you can’t fault his swagger.

  • Frankly, you can’t emotionally invest in Simran or root for her as much as you might want to. But when you watch the film, you will find yourself warming up to her occasionally, because she’s all you’ve got. Let’s give Kangana her due.

  • If you like crime drama, Daddy is bound to fuel your imagination. Gawli is a part of India’s crime-history. And this is the closest you will come to ‘encountering’ him.
