Iron Lung
2026 · TheGuardian · Feb 2026
Hopes that Iron Lung is a new Dark Star are soon sunk by the depressive tone, leaden pacing and near-total absence of spectacle; this is basically a radio-play script that insistently has to tell, because this barebones production has nothing much to show.

Jawan
2023 · TheGuardian · Sep 2023
A star vehicle that functions like a runaway train, Jawan covers a lot of ground in surprising fashion at full throttle – but that's also a polite way of admitting it's utterly all over the place. There's ego involved, undeniably, but few stars in any cinema could model such radically diverse hats with this much flair.
