The high octane drama then slowly (and skilfully done) snowballs into zappy car chases (and crashes), full blown civil wars, gunfires that will make you go boom! and tremendously projected acrobatic antics–you get it all. The razor sharp editing and fragmented (intentionally done) screenplay only spices up the drama to give you a visual experience that only this series can promises to dish out!

Don’t miss this extraordinary tale of an ordinary young girl who made the nation proud with her incredible courage. Madhvani gives the real-life hero a befitting tribute!

The heart-wrenching drama unfolds with many twists and turns that will keep you hooked to the seat. It surely leaves you moist-eyed and your heart goes out for the helplessness of the victims, but you also enjoy the moment of triumph as raw emotions get displayed and the strength of togetherness as indeed the core moral values come to the surface.

Bajirao Mastani is certainly a one time watch. The confluence of the Mughal impressions and the Maratha establishment is beautifully portrayed. Ranveer Singh plays the Bajirao Peshwa with remarkable conviction. He keeps a peculiar Marathi twang consistent. He packs so much honesty and sincerity into the performance. Deepika looks smouldering hot as Mastani and delivers yet another scintillating act. Priyanka Chopra looks promising too. The epic love story is as arresting as it is beautiful in terms of its scale and drama. SLB leaves no stone unturned to ensure that he produces a visual delight like no other!

Armed with in-depth research, powerful screenplay and brilliant directorial skills, Gulzar keeps the drama engaging and taut. Irrfan, Konkana Sen and Neeraj Kabi sink into their characters and yet their awareness about presenting the case is palpable. This ain’t just an intense story that needed to be told. It’s a must watch for facts, as they are presented and consumed, could be stranger than fiction.

Bolstered with the razor sharp editing skills that put a seasoned surgeon to shame, excellent cinematography and commendable screenplay, Kabir Khan delivers a cinematic treat that entertain as well as thrill you. The movie is technically supreme too. A special mention here for the background score and the action sequences where the expertise employed is on par with the international standards.

…is a must watch for it restores faith in the goodness in humanity as it indeed gives you hope that Salman Khan could probably act!

Sushant delivers a rather understated performance, but the real star here is Banerjee who shines with his cinematic brilliance as he pays attention to minutes details in terms of construction of the characters and the city (Calcutta). He lets the story take the usual path, before delivering a rather edgy punch without resorting to the larger-than-life hysteria. Dibakar Banerjee dishes out an interesting thriller!

With recent big budget-big star movies disappointing, Gautam Vasudev Menon bounces back to winning ways with this action thriller, which has a winner written all over it. Ajith’s large legion of fans are sure to have a treat with this one.

Very rarely do cine-goers get to see a movie that charms them with its simplicity coupled with the sincerity of those who make it. Director Vibhu Puri’s Hawaizaada is one such endevour that retains the essence of the simplicity of narration without going overboard.
