It’s about time Mumbai’s most conspicuous theatre personality tries telling us a story for the sake of the story itself, and not because of some underlying itch to share his midnight epiphanies with the world.

Is there something worse than an outright plagiarist? Perhaps someone unoriginal who doesn’t realise the limits of their own skill? That is something Vikram Bhatt should seriously consider before he decides to let loose another half baked, corpse-like aatma on us.

This film is strictly for Rajat Kapoor or Ranvir Shourie fans. Or you might just love it if you got dumped unceremoniously for losing your hair at twenty. The rest would be better off giving it a miss

With a running time of two hours and eighteen minutes, this one is best avoided. Do gift the DVD to friends whom you never want to meet again. Hopefully they’ll get the hint….

Ferrari Ki Sawaari isn’t something that was put together in a hurry because the actors were available. This was a tribute to all the young boys who spend countless hours, dreaming of the day when they can wield the bat with the same passion as the master blaster does. A sweet feel good film with its heart in the right place.The dialogues by RajKumar Hirani entertain us with a handful of LOL-worthy moments.And that is the best that can be said about Ferrari Ki Sawaari. One or two brilliant moments, a handful of good moments but they don’t come together to give us a great film.

There is only one reason to see this film. It will definitely be a long long time before you tell somebody, “Oh, go fly a kite”

Arjun: The Warrior Prince, it isn’t the first film to be made about the Mahabharata. It won’t be the last, either. It also isn’t India’s first animated film, but it is certainly one of Bollywood’s better (maybe even best) animated ventures.It would’ve been easy to let this plot go stale, for the simple reason that it has been explored so much, but hats off to the director for bringing something new to the platter.Being an animated film, Arjun is sure to find a connect with kids. It is also a great outing for someone who wishes to walk down nostalgia lane with their favourite tales of the good old days.

Gattu is a must watch for all but most especially cynics who believe ‘there is no hope for any of us’. It took Gattu just a little less than two hours to prove it.

This film is best avoided unless you want to see how the classic Yash Chopra hit song “Chandni, Tu Meri Chandni” has been ruthlessly murdered.

The redeeming feature about Will You Marry Me is the complete lack of pretensions. Vulgarity, crass humour (including a scene with a bare-chested Muzammil sporting a black-and-white candy striped bra) comprise the ethos of the film. While most of us may dismiss the film outright, there are always a few takers for these so-called ‘ingenuous’ sex comedies.Maybe that’s why they’re being dished out with such amazing frequency.
