Rohit Bhatnagar's Film Reviews
-
‘Sultan’ is the best feast on this Eid. The film is recommended not only to Salman Khan’s fans but also to the family audience who were awaiting a family drama high on emotions, just like YRF style.
-
‘7 Hours To Go’ is not a good pick unless you want to witness a murder mystery of 114 minutes and wouldn’t mind leaving the theatre with a muddled head.
-
‘Rough Book’ is an off beat recipe with commercial ingredients but will surely make you recall films like ‘Paathshaala’, ‘Faltu’ and ‘Aarakshan’.
-
Raman Raghav 2.0 has only good performances to watch else the film is surely not worth your ticket price. Since there are multiple releases this Friday, pick this only if you are an ardent Nawazzudin Siddiqui or Vicky Kaushal fan, because the film holds no promise of entertaining you.
-
The film’s ‘chill factor’ rests on the shoulders of Radhika Apte, who’s expressions are flawless and tends to leave the audience wide-eyed and in awe of her performance. Her act in the climax which leads to a bloodbath shakes you to the bone. Her no make up look is just perfect and is close to the reality. Satyadeep Mishra has done a fabulous job as a friend cum admirer in the film.
-
If you are willing to watch a sensible film with soul, ‘Waiting’ is definitely a good pick this weekend!
-
‘Buddha In A Traffic Jam’ is mostly in English which might be a problem for the producer. But it is certainly a one-time watch.
-
This flick is just another Friday release, which can easily be checked off from your weekend bucket list.
-
‘Love Games’ is a watchable one if you have nothing to do this weekend or simply if you don’t get the tickets for ‘The Jungle Book’.
-
If you are religious and want to know its hidden harsh realities, then go watch ‘Global Baba’ this weekend. But if you are expecting a fancy film like ‘PK’ or ‘Oh My God’, then it may disappoint you. Though the film doesn’t have ‘stars’, but the performances by the actors in the film will blow you away.
