Engaging, advancing and thrilling, The Last Jedi doesn’t disappoint on major levels and we can thank the makers for not messing it up and for being true to the force. As Master Yoda would’ve said, “Watch One May. Enjoy One Must.”

Justice League is like a baked cheesy- potato dish, which has no nutrition but you can’t resist its temptation. A decent follow-up to disastrous Batman vs Superman, the film still has hope to get better, only if they let Wonder Woman to lead and not any other way around. Watch it for all the five years of excitement and to see the team standing against the sunset- a scene that will definitely bring the cartoon series nostalgia back in some form. Oh and also for the ‘promised hope’, that is lying somewhere inside the series; we just need a Patty Jenkins to find it and execute in next one.

IT appears to be a half-baked adaptation that had a lot of ground to cover effectively, and thus fell short on major aspects. The scares are less, the thrill is nil, just the strong characters and patent psychological ‘monsters’ keep this horror-thriller afloat.

Entertaining, experimental and adventurous to the core, Jagga Jasoos is definitely a stepping stone towards a genre not yet explored by even the biggest of Bollywood filmmakers. A beautiful ode to Satyajit Ray, Feluda, Sherlock Holmes and Tintin at the same time indeed.

The film ends with hope again, and looking at the current way the things with the franchise are proceeding, Disney needs to bring in plotline and decorate it with a better case of seaworthiness, in order to reach the same level it set in 2003 with Curse of The Black Pearl. A tad better than the last two outings, this instalment lies someplace in middle.

Rangoon deserves a watch for its smart sub-plot, Kangana-Shahid’s titillating chemistry and of course, Kangana Ranaut’s vulnerability as a popular actress turned liberated lover Julia.

Overall, despite few hiccups, the entire good vibe and vibrant nature of Running Shaadi makes it a worthy watch this weekend. Just go for this easy-breezy film and come out with a smile or a plan of elopement during a wedding.

It is time for everyone involved with the franchise to really, truly and absolutely call it a day and let Alice go. The final chapter offers a powerless punch to a dried out series, ironically, much to everybody’s relief.

This real telling of young Army officers will connect with your consciousness and not the perfect film critic inside you.

The film is a must watch for every cricket lover because it aptly tells the tale of an extraordinary man. The struggles are real and so is Sushant’s acting. There isn’t any shocking revelation, just inspiration and determination of a born talent who along with right people by his side, became the legendary captain.
