• The script is so sketchy that you might get a migraine following it. There are several twists and turns in the second half that just don’t connect the dots. We wish if filmmakers had to reference Hollywood films they would do it effectively. With films like Insidious and Conjuring doing so well at domestic box-office, the audience needs quality when it comes to horror.

  • Die hard Clooney fans can make a beeline, the rest can wait for it to hit HBO.

  • Vampire Academy could have worked as a sitcom, unfortunately on the big screen its reduced to nothing more than a bunch of half baked gags.

  • Entertaining in parts, the 2014 Robocop is heavy on the brawn and easy on the brain.

  • A wasted opportunity to make something different than the usual, Heartless doesn’t have its heart in the right place!

  • There is a certain lethargy that sets in early on in the film. You can predict the entire plot 10 minutes into the opening scene. Also Frankenstein has always been someone with a deep dark brooding sense of humor that is missing here. The fight sequences and big moments seem heavily inspired and borrowed from recent super hero flicks. Trying to hard to fit into either the horror or thriller genre the film fails on retaining our interest as we drag ourselves into a tedious second half.

  • The film takes too long to set sailing. First half has very little substance and most of the scenes look like fillers put together to battle the reel length. Preeti Desai is easy on the eyes but fails in staying true to her character. She plays a dancer who competes in a TV show, but her lack of dancing skills is something that kills any little chance of us being interested in her character.

  • Neither scary nor engaging, Carrie suffers an identity crises because of a weak script and sketchy direction.

  • Strictly an average fare, Hercules will only appeal to those who can’t enough of the Greek demi gods.

  • Watch it without much expectation, and you won’t hold a grudge against this match.
