• Kushan Nandy’s most ambitious and technically his best film. The fascination to the radicalism of Anurag Kashyap is evident, there is nothing wrong in getting inspired but Kashyap had a clear point of view in GOW and RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0. Even after accepting its gimmicks, sensationalisms and hinterland exotica, the point of view behind BABUMOSHAI BANDOOKBAAZ is not clear, is it a black comedy on sharp shooters, or a morality lesson that crime doesn’t pay?

  • …is the one to be missed. Ashwini Iyer Tiwari has fulfilled the desires of a feel good mainstream rom-com in BAREILLY KI BARFI. It is delightfully sweet, delicious, comes with a twist and is powered by top notch performance from Kirti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao.

  • …could have been a masterstroke but it isn’t a lost hope either. In spite of its constipated second half and sluggish approach, the movie has its witty, satirical moments, terrific performances that entertain to the core and at least hint towards the open ‘shit’ that almost 54 percent of our proud digital India witnesses daily. Akshay Kumar deserves an extra pat on his back for highlighting it through a mainstream cinematic medium. Watch it at least for Akshay Kumar, his efforts and the cause the movie tries to raise.

  • …things are disappointingly lost in JAB HARRY MET SEJAL, the touted rom com turns out to be a bore com, romance goes surprisingly ‘Phurr’ along with director Imtiaz Ali in this flick.

  • INDU SARKAR if done by a new comer would have been called as a better attempt but we expected some tight comment from Madhur who gave us CHANDINI BAR, PAGE 3, FASHION and the underrated SATTA.

  • All said and done MUBARAKAN is a complete family entertainer worth every cent of your penny spent. Go LOL with your near and dear ones.

  • ”Munna Michael is not cinema, it’s a circus where we see a chiseled Tiger dancing like a dream”. Beat it’ or ‘Enjoy Yourselves’.

  • Go if you demand something different and cinematic this weekend. You won’t regret it.

  • Glaring loopholes like Mohan’s attraction towards Raina and the reason for Sonal’s attraction towards other men is not explained or the maker wants us to believe it or take it as it comes. Unwanted back stories (The French neighbor past) are added just to make it feel intense but it fails to work.
