Jabariya Jodi is an entertaining funfair backed with a comparatively much-serious issue. It boasts many rib-tickling one-liners and actors those have nailed in delivering them. A time-pass watch if you minus the drama!

JABARIYA JODI is a decent entertainer and works because of the novel idea of forced marriages, performances and hilarious and witty dialogues. At the box office, it will do decent business before the Independence Day biggies take over.

Jabariya Jodi is based on the practice of groom kidnapping, garnished with a pinch of comedy and a dash of romance. As a whole, it is a feel-good film; a movie you won’t mind watching once.

The climax  at a wedding where everyone is shooting at each other seems  to go out of control. But otherwise director Prashant Singh does  an admirable  job of controlling the riot of raucus sounds and flamboyant  visuals.
