Journey of Love 18+

Despite following a familiar template, with the story of two youngsters from different family backgrounds falling in love and being discouraged by their families, the director succeeds in crafting the film in an engaging way. Journey of Love 18+ makes for a good one-time watch, thanks to its good performances and humour.

This elopement procedural is remarkably shorn of melodrama and violence... the film is deliberately sombre in tone, giving away nothing of the intrinsic tension or humour in the situation. For a film about a recycled Romeo & Juliet, Journey Of Love 18+ is a surprisingly reposeful film.

Arun. D. Jose manages to come up with only some average fare from the thin plot of Journey of Love 18+, despite all the progressive sprinkling. The sheer lack of material to sustain the narrative is painfully evident at some points, while at others, the exuberance of the predominantly young cast carries the day for the movie.
