• It’s a tragedy that it limits itself to mediocrity. And that, in times when we as a nation are suffering from cinematic crunch, should mean a lot.

Memories in March is both a sensible and sensitive watch.

  • If you can’t catch Memories in the theatres, you won’t be missing much, to be honest. Watch it only for the beautiful story, narrated in three languages (English, Bengali and Hindi) with a real human touch.

  • On the whole, Memories In March is a dull fare. Most of its dialogues being in English will further limit its already dim box-office prospects.

On the whole, MEMORIES IN MARCH is more for the discerning viewer and the festival circuit. Unfortunately, the film has had an unsung release, with hardly any promotion or awareness, which will make the effort go unnoticed. However, if you wish to listen to an untold story that’s sensibly treated with some wonderful performances, I would surely recommend MEMORIES IN MARCH to you.
