"Officer On Duty follows the familiar 'women in refrigerators' trope, while not even trying to be subtle about it. Countless titles have used this trope, treating female suffering as little more than a plot device while reducing the victims to side characters with no real agency or depth. While Kunchacko Boban's performance conveys far more than what is explicitly written in the script, the film's biggest shortcomings are its inability to fully explore its emotional and dramatic moments."
