Onslaught

There is not enough slash for a slasher, if that is your thing; and there is not enough surprise for it to be a thriller.

A stylish throwback that pulls its punches. Watch it for Adria Arjona, atmospheric visuals and flashes of bloody action, but keep your expectations measured.

Director Adam Wingard and his long-time collaborator, Simon Barrett have fashioned a spare, superfast movie, that is definitely not short on blood-thirsty, charged action sequences. Stevens has the maximum fun as the completely cowed doctor while Arjona gives a spirited performance as the mama bear who will do anything to protect her cub.
