• ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ is rushed, repetitive film that has all the elements a horror film shouldn’t. If being a fan of the franchise you were worried about the declining authenticity and horror quotient with each film, this one is going to disappoint you further. Definitely give it a skip.

You walk out with the hope that they stick to their promise and end this nonsense already. You know the best jump scare they can come up with is announcing part 7. A part of you feels pity, but that part slowly dies as your eyes adjust to the sunlight.

  • What made PA originally effective was that it was lo-fi, not about CGI, as in the case here. In any event, the scares only happen at the very end. All in all, Ghost Dimension does not really deliver the excitement that horror film fans seek.

Nothing riles you more than a horror film that doesn’t keep you hooked or even scared throughout, even for a hour and a half.

  • This film has the third dimension as mentioned in its moniker but frankly it’s just too flaky and insubstantial for any effect. There’s no thrill, nothing exciting, no tension, little of interest and certainly nothing inventive either. The 3D doesn’t add any novelty to the stale sub-genre staple that gets regurgitated here. What was once an interesting and intriguing concept has now turned turtle completely. It’s just too sad, disheartening and extremely tedious an outing to bear any fruit. Access at your own risk!
