The Family Star

The romantic drama is uninteresting and illogical

The biggest drawback of the film perhaps is Parashuram's writing. The story itself is utterly dated and the treatment has no spark. The dialogue also lacks any originality or brilliance.

Young actor Vijay Devarakonda tried to salvage a poorly etched family drama but it goes in vain. The love story between the duo fails to take off since Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur lack on-screen chemistry and much worse are lifeless duets between the love birds. The director mixing action with family drama goes for a toss since it looks more contrived than realistic.

A boring imitation of Geetha Govindam that suffers from the delusion of being meaningful.
