• ‘Race 2’ is a grand display of money. The adrenaline-pumping action is the plus point of the film, but too much of that does no good to it.

  • The film stands out in its make-believe moments. It makes you want to fall in love yet again, without really making a great impact on the mind – blame the tried and tested climax for that. But watch it for Nushrat and Kartik. The duo deserves an extra star for their performance. Three out of five from me for ‘Akaash Vani’.

  • ‘Inkaar’ is another of Sudhir Mishra’s brilliances captured on celluloid. Don’t say a ‘no’ to this one.

  • Watch the film if you swear by Akshay Kumar. If you don’t, you’d be ill-advised to go into the theatres.

  • They say what can’t be cured, must be endured. Once you give in to that adage and ask your white matter to exit the theatre, you will enjoy the film. Watch ‘Bol Bachchan’ just for laughing.

  • A film, which has childlike ambitions as its fulcrum, needs to be seen with the eyes of a child, they say. ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ comes across as mesmerising if the Dickensian footholds of reason and logic are dropped for some time. As a film which has the game of cricket as its scaffolding and thriving ground, the usage of a car belonging to the iconic cricketer might not be a phenomenal tribute, but is quite laudable. The producer and director of the film – Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar, have successfully pulled off their offering to the God of Cricket.
