Aubrey D'souza's Film Reviews
-
It is a movie for children. Designed to capture their attention, they will have a laugh at some of the gags. You can also enjoy this film if you are just looking forward to watching any animated feature.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is return to the old. The future is shown dark and terrible, the past is given this shine but it isn’t what it seems. You are taken through this world and you will root for your heroes. The bad guys get their head kicked in, the good guys fight with honor, there are giant robots and loads of action. Don’t miss it, this is a brilliant cinematic experience! For all you Marvel fans out there, remember to stay till the end of the credits.

Firstly it is a Himesh Bhai’s film. “Suroor” makes a comeback. The movie is good fun when you watch it with your buddies. You will nudge each other and make silly comments about the dialogues. This is a movie for the weekend. All you have to do is get your tickets, leave your brain behind and let the silliness take you over.

This is not a hero film. This is a movie about one guy who made a choice to tell the truth. Nothing more, nothing less. His is a story that has to be heard, to ensure that Manjunath’s life wasn’t spent in vain. Watch this film and let the story carry you.

This movie takes patience to watch. So if you have nothing better to do and you want to watch a movie where you will laugh at the film and not with it, then this is for you.
-
This is an action movie with loads of stunts, explosions, fights and parkour. You can even think of it as Paul Walker‘s final finished work. Don’t think too much, the movie is all about taking your brain and leaving it at home. At the end of the day, you will see fists flying and people falling. Not Luc Besson‘s finest work, but it is passable, considering the other options. So sit back, and enjoy a remake.

The animation is alright. The details in the computer graphics are good. In 3D, you get to enjoy the depth of field, and the wonderful background. Other than that, it’s just another Hollywood remake gone awfully wrong.
-
The film is an attempt at the whole A.I. Genre. With the world of computing making immense strides, the movie tries to explore the next gen. before it gets here. The plot is alright, the pace does drag. But Rebecca Hall and Johnny Depp try their best. Rebecca Hall brings a lightness to the proceedings and Johnny Depp’s one-liners are fun.
All in all, a movie to watch when you have to kill a few hours or if you want to experience a time-lock. -
If you have 2 hours to kill, and you have left your brain at home, then this movie works. Don’t expect great shocks, or plot twists, you can see them from a mile away. Michelle Dockery is pretty to watch. In the end, you can be glad that atleast they got the title right.

Everyone should watch this film as it has weight and value. We must learn about the dark times of our society, if we are to move into a brighter future. A future which is free of hate and bigotry and a future filled with hope.
