• This is one of those films where a bunch of relatively unknowns make it big. It is an epic metaphor (again, another little joke from the movie). Don’t miss it on the big screen.

The visuals are stunning to say the least. The soundtrack will make you smile from ear-to-ear. As you enter the worlds, be amazed and also don’t forget… watch out for the Easter eggs.

  • This movie doesn’t require a lot of thought process. You can leave your brain at home and enjoy a mindless comedy with the standard lines. If you are fond of canines, then watch the dog try to do his thing. On the whole, a family entertainer with terrible music. A decent attempt but it fails to make the grade. Watch the movie with your little ones (the human kind, don’t know if they allow dogs in the theatre).

  • This is a funny film where the humor is defined not by what gets the most obvious laughs, but by the tongue-in-cheek wit that runs rampant. This isn’t a serious movie. You are encouraged to laugh at the way the movie industry takes itself so seriously.

  • Luc Besson delivers a visually stunning and explosively wonderful experience.

  • Hercules is a good film compared to the other one that was inflicted on us. Dwayne Johnson does his part.

  • This is a movie for everyone. You shouldn’t miss this. As the ending credits roll, you will sit in the theatre and wonder ‘where did the time go?’ And you will want to watch this movie all over again. The experience of The Grand Budapest Hotel is sheer brilliance combined with humor and passion.

  • A beautiful story about two people whose lives have been given set-backs. They find each other and in helping each other, they start to move forward. The pain which they feel passes and hope blooms again. Beautifully shot with amazing music, which you will enjoy and sing along to, this film makes it an all-round treat for the senses. Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo bring a connection to life within the film. You will thoroughly enjoy the movie and you will be left wanting for more at the end of it. And you will want it to “Begin Again.”

  • A movie about the quest for love. Sort of. In a way. Actually, a movie about the concept that love cannot be quantified but should be felt. In effect, this is a decent movie with the standard jokes and some really good ones. You will enjoy the moments when the fourth wall breaks. The insights are good and some are really funny. Virr Das does an enjoyable turn. The music, notably the soundtrack, make the movie come alive. Mala and Devika are a treat for the eyes. On the whole, Amit Sahni Ki List is worth a watch on the weekend, with your friends or your significant other.

  • The movie is an attempt at making a teenage relevant story come to life on the screen. In the end, it is an attempt. If you are fan of the book, you might enjoy the film or you might hate it. You can even compile a list of errors or discrepancies between the book and the film. You will enjoy seeing Willem Dafoe but he just doesn’t get enough screen time. All in all, either you will cry till your eyes turn bloodshot or you will roll your eyes till you strain them.

  • A fun and unconventional movie about a chef, his life, the people he loves and his dream to cook from the heart. Jon Favreau makes you forget about the world and inhabit this lovely concoction where you will drool while watching food being prepared. It is an exploration of what it means to be happy and the risks we have to take in order to truly be great. Catch Chef and enjoy this heartwarming tale of food, passion, family and humor.
