Rekha is eternal in her role. She shines as a true diva but unfortunately her timeless charm is lost in this unimaginative worn-out movie that could have being easily avoided by her.
The makers should have planned something inspiring like Sridevi’s comeback vehicle ‘English Vinglish’ to do justice to Rekha’s divine talent.

‘Poojai’ is a mix of a lot of genres, but they seem disproportionate for the times and taste of this day. However, it is an entertaining three hours of festivity, to chill out on. Most importantly, thanks to Hari for a thoroughbred masala movie after a long time in Kollywood.

Certain to reach the 200 crore mark in India the overseas collections will be mind-blowing considering the fact that SRK is the most favorite choice in Bollywood’s overseas market ‘Happy New Year’ is certain for a grand heist worldwide. A guaranteed Blockbuster.

All in all, OLK is a film where Chai shows flashes of good talent once again after Manam. However, barring a few well-crafted scenes and nice visuals, the film lacks a strong story to keep the story going. Once watchable for the taking.

A juvenile attempt to twine the Tarantino wine with desi Bonnie and Clyde whiskey, first timer producer director Suryaveer Singh Bhullar’s ‘Tamanchey’ shoots many blanks in this desi action, attitude ‘guy’ type exercise that aims to be ‘cool’ but turns cold.

All said, ‘Yaan’ is a clean entertainer, healthy for family audience, but for just a couple of hard action scenes. It is certainly worth the watch, provided you do not expect too many fights or too much mushy love from it, and aren’t very conscious about the three hours it will consume.

An adventure film with a huge scale with Hrithik awesome dance moves paying tribute to MJ (Michael Jackson) traveling around the world to Prague, US, Thailand, Greece romancing the ravishing Katrina Kaif.

‘Haider’ is in a strange bracket it’s not at all mass friendly and its not rare piece of cinema like ‘Kaminey’ either. Falling in between ‘Haider’ is still is not a bad film, it’s a disappointment by the standards set by Bhardwaj in his earlier adaptations. ‘Haider’ narration, style and technique will initially attract the high end niche audience for whom any form of sensationalisms with or without conviction is artistic intelligence.

Good writing, balanced acts, Cherry’s new avatar (career best, acting-wise)- GAV packs them all along with the redoubtable talents, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha. Nothing novel story-wise, but with Dasara season on, brace up for a blockbuster.
