• On the whole, Tanu Weds Manu is a family entertainer which will hit the bull’s eye. It may be a slow starter but it will pick up phenomenally by positive word of mouth and ultimately go on to become a hit.

  • On the whole, Masti Express is too dull to impress at the box-office. Additionally, its promotion is so low-key that its prospects will be further marred.

  • On the whole, Kaccha Limboo is good but only in parts. It loses track midway after which it is just not able to come back on track. At the box-office, it will not be able to make any mark whatsoever.

  • On the whole, 7 Khoon Maaf is for the elite audience in the big cities only. The general masses will reject it. Given its good recoveries from non-theatrical sources, it may not entail huge losses but its theatrical business will be far from exciting because of its highly class appeal. Distributors who have bought the film’s rights at fancy prices would stand to lose.

  • On the whole, Patiala House is an ordinary fare which will face an uphill task at the box-office. It has taken a very dull start and that will tell on its ultimate tally at the box-office.

  • On the whole, United Six is a dull fare with bleak chances at the box-office.

  • On the whole, Yeh Saali Zindagi is an average entertainer which will suffer at the box-office on account of a complicated script. Its bold dialogues and the performances of its cast members are its biggest plus points.

  • On the whole, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji is an enjoyable entertainer. It leaves a smile on the viewer’s face and that is its biggest victory. The youth will love it and a section may even repeat it. Its business is expected to be the best in the big cities and the multiplexes. The producers have already made a profit by selling the various rights, and given the merits, the distributors will also make comfortable profits.

  • On the whole, Hostel is a poor show and will, therefore, find few takers.

  • On the whole, Turning 30!!! may not do too well commercially but it is a well-made film for the multiplex-going city-based audience. Better promotion would’ve helped.
