• This shaadi ka laddoo doesn’t leave you with a pleasant taste in the mouth. Instead a trip to an actual wedding would do you more good for at least you return home back with a happy face. Towards the end, there is a family portrait moment in Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana where everyone flashes a smile and goes ‘All is well’. Sadly, that’s just not applicable to us post the watch!

  • Poorna has its heart in the right place. It’s like that comfort food which warms you up on days when things go low. Go for it if you are looking out for some extraordinary stories of ordinary people!

  • Naam Shabana is a major letdown especially when you walk into the theatre halls carrying good ol’ Baby nostalgia and expecting a similar adrenaline rush. In a nutshell, we would prefer to settle for a rewatch of the 2015 espionage-thriller instead!

  • This romantic comedy has a heart of gold. Sadly it breaks a little too early leaving you with an underwhelming feeling by the end. The spirit is in the right place but it’s the humans who err.

  • Allow yourself to get ‘trapped’ in Shaurya aka Rajkummar Rao’s world if you are seeking for something way different from the regular popcorn entertainers. This one needs a viewing purely for Rao’s stellar act.

  • Badrinath Ki Dulhania has its own set of flaws. But, it’s the Dhawan boy (a brownie point for him) who wins over your hearts with his beguiling performance and makes you forgive the makers for it. Go for it if you are looking for some laughs, breeze and a story with its heart at the right place!

  • Commando 2 is strictly for Vidyut Jammwal fans and for those who have a thing for action-fests!

  • Definitely not one of Vishal Bhardwaj’s best work, but this one needs to be viewed solely for Kangana’s ‘Jaanbaaz’ act that wins over your hearts.

  • Running Shaadi could have made for a good short film instead. Stretching the runtime to 114 minutes doesn’t serve the purpose. Nevertheless, it still makes up a partly entertaining watch.

  • If you ain’t in the mood for some lovey-dovey watch, then ‘The Ghazi Attack’ is a perfect pick for you to turn back the pages of the Indian history and revisit a gripping tale of unsung heroes who risked their lives to rescue the tricolor!
