The story of Baadshaho is that of the heist in the desert, where everyone double-crosses each other and by the end you wish they were all dead in the cross-firing.

On retrospect, ‘Pinneyum’ strikes us as little more than a sentimental pile of overworked emotions. Clearly not a film that one would expect of Adoor, it’s an ineffective reformulation of a familiar theme that gets lost between cinematic genres.

This retelling of the Tarzan story is so tedious, you can throw darts at the bad guys, knowing which one is going to die next. Jane is as important as what’s-her-name in Transformers. The CGI gorillas should have stayed in the mist…

Finally, Shankarabharanam brought that Flop for Nikhil who is on a high. Except for Prudhvi’s comedy and few scenes nothing works for the film. Try it only if you have nothing to do this weekend.

Kanche is an exciting and challenging project on paper but falls short due to poor execution. The gripping script needed for a War backdrop film is missing and so it the usual emotional depth in Krish films. We definitely need to appreciate the attempt but Kanche is Krish’s weakest film till date.

… is a tedious comedy drama full of uninspiring, verbose performances. Even at a running time of 135 minutes, the film looks butt-numbing to sit through.

Oka Laila Kosam has some good scenes and sizzling chemistry between the lead pair. But the screenplay and treatment is a total let down. First half of the film is flat with out any excitement, whereas the drama in the second half doesn’t hold. Finally, the film ends up as one more mediocre fare for Naga Chaitanya.

Loukyam seems to be a new addition in Tollywood’s trend these days. ‘No Novelty in Story and Screenplay, Entertainment is the sole mantra’ is being followed successfully for several films. If audience chose to focus solely on Entertainment once again, the film will end up as the biggest hit in Gopichand’s career. In the critics point of view, the film is one more stale attempt.

Senseless story, uninspired acting and lack of any scares whatsoever make this film another entry in the long list of failed horror movies.

Rabhasa is the one man show of NTR well complimented with some excellent comedy from Brahmanandham. Like most films these days, the film is less on substance more on comedy. But some how Telugu audience have developed high tolerance levels to such films. So Rabhasa is expected to work out well at the box office.
