Kathal

2023 · Outlook · May 2023

Sanya Malhotra is in top form with hardly a scene where she feels out of character, and the script by Ashok Mishra and Yashowardhan Mishra is hilarious, touching upon so many different topics that you're simply blown away. The accuracy of the facts makes the satire come out even more perfectly, and it makes you ponder about Indian society and the power that local politicians hold.

The Elephant Whisperers

2022 · Outlook · Feb 2023

What makes 'The Elephant Whisperers' distinct from other documentaries is the fact that it wasn't just a heart-touching story of a bond between animal and human and a shining example of how we can continue to coexist, but also touched upon Indian culture, our long-forgotten values and spoke of conservation in the most positive, hopeful light. The impact this little documentary made is a wonderful sign of how strong content can win hearts with its subtlety and hold its own against bigger films.

RRR

2022 · Outlook · Mar 2022

There is no doubt that the movie rests more on the laurels of director SS Rajamouli's grand presentation than anything else. He lives up to the expectations and delivers. Every scene is beautifully shown on screen.

Atrangi Re

2021 · Outlook · Dec 2021

It's a different approach to a twisted love triangle. It does get boring in the middle, but it's not one that's predictable. Dhanush is mind-blowing in every scene, and there is hardly anyone in Indian films who could emote as well as he does. However, it's indeed a ONE-TIME WATCH.

Dharam Sankat Mein

2015 · Bollywood Life · Apr 2015

...is a YAWN FEST. Despite having such a heavy star cast, the film fails to impress. Being a satire it falls flat at making you laugh because of its bad script and shoddy direction.

Hunterrr

2015 · Bollywood Life · Mar 2015

Leave everything and go watch this film. Bollywood hardly has such classy comedies and this one is definitely going in history as one of the bests. A MUST WATCH!

Badmashiyaan

2015 · Bollywood Life · Mar 2015

Even Sharib Hashmi's impeccable comic timing can't salvage this film! The songs are really fab. But are they worth wasting time and money at the theaters? Naah! Better to download the songs to your music player and listen on loop, or play the audio jukebox online.

Ab Tak Chhappan 2

2015 · Bollywood Life · Feb 2015

Before the movie began, the trailer of Dev Patel's upcoming film Chappie was shown. Trust me, that two and a half minutes trailer was way better than this full film. If you are a Nana Patekar fan, go watch Shimit Amin's Ab Tak Chappan than the sequel!

Ugly

2014 · Bollywood Life · Dec 2014

I went to watch this film not having much expectations from it, but Anurag Kashyap won me over with his storytelling and direction. If you are a lover of good cinema and if you can handle dark, raw truths of the society, then this is a must watch. It is worth every penny spent!

Only a die-hard Ajay fan could walk out of the film without regretting the waste of time and money spent on the film.

Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami

2014 · Bollywood Life · Oct 2014

It's worth it. The movie's story line and comedy punches are great. If you are a fan of political satires, this is one movie you should not miss. It's worth every penny you spend.

Desi Kattey

2014 · Bollywood Life · Sept 2014

This film is a perfect example of what bad direction can do to a good enough plot. This movie is torture to your senses. If you have nothing better to do this weekend, sit at home and watch Arnab Goswami on TV. That will be far more interesting that going and watching this film.

Daawat-e-Ishq

The otherwise predictable story is saved by the brilliant performance of the cast. it isn't a great film but is good enough for a one-time watch.

Bobby Jasoos

2014 · Bollywood Life · Jul 2014

Shantanu Moitra has tried to come up with a simple yet sweet album, but the compositions are nothing too great. Tu is the only saving grace of the soundtrack, which is definitely the best classical romantic track in a long time. But the fall side is that it too will be loved only by the connoisseurs of good classical music. Jashn too is okay, but rest of the tracks fall flat.

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil

Samrat & Co.

2014 · Bollywood Life · Apr 2014

Trust me Samrat is no Sherlock Holmes, Feluda, Byomkesh Bakshi or Hercule Poirot. If you love to see Bollywood mystery films and have nothing else to watch this weekend, better get yourself a DVD of Bhool Bhulaiyaa and rewatch rather than going for this squanderous stinker.

Main Tera Hero

2014 · Bollywood Life · Apr 2014

The twists and turns in the film are timely. The comic timings are perfect. The facial expressions are superb. And lastly even though having an old formula, this film doesn't allow you to feel bored throughout the 128 minutes. Main Tera Hero is a full on entertainer. David Dhawan has presented a retro '90s style movie with peppy and foot-tapping music. Though Main Tera Hero isn't a cult comedy movie, it is a must watch for cinegoers who want just entertainment, entertainment and entertainment!
