• Watch this film if you want simple entertainment. It may have done-to-death elements (barring the new sport of golf for our cinema), but it is delivered with a lot of soul.

  • The flaws and loose ends are quite minor and can be completely overlooked in this super enjoyable fun fest. For me, producer Aanand L. Rai and Eros have scored a distinguished hat-trick after “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” and “Nil Battey Sannata.”

  • Decent Thriller Bogged Down by Weak Script…

  • “Dishoom” is timepass entertainment, and, since it has little competition till Aug. 12, will do well. Varun Dhawan, of course, will pull in the audience apart from the songs.

  • This is a movie with both a heart and a solid body that delivers a socko punch of entertainment…

  • In the final analysis, we hope that this film, which loses an entire star for all this planned audience disconnect, does not go the way of so many movies with noble messages that lose their sheen and box office appeal and defeat their purpose of giving vital messages to society because of such and other forms of over-indulgence and over-confidence.

  • Do not miss this small gem, which shows that the best films need not come at all in big size packets at all.

  • Watch this one for its sheer ingenuity, though at 136 minutes, it is probably about 16 minutes too long.

  • …the film ends up as a decent stress-buster due to its combination of slapstick and situational comedy. More than the script, it is the actors who go that extra mile in this matter, led of course by Akshay Kumar as the wannabe sportsman with split personality disorder.

  • Miss this one at your own risk. Correction: Make that: ‘Do Not Miss!’
