Mahavatar Narsimha
2025 · PinkVilla
Mahavatar Narsimha is an aspirational but flawed tribute to Indian mythology. The noble intentions, vibrant animation, cultural reverence and truthful storytelling, are marred by a slow first half, unpolished storytelling, grainy visuals, and graphic violence that's unsuitable for children.
Chandu Champion
2024 · PinkVilla
Chandu Champion is an exceptionally well made biopic that celebrates the eventful life of Padmashree Murlikant Petkar. What doesn't help its cause is its familiarity.
War 2
2025 · PinkVilla · Aug 2025
War 2 is a visual spectacle with a strong cast, great music, and a few exciting moments. But the bland story and lack of gripping conflict hold it back. War 2, at the end of the day, is style over substance.
Kannappa
2025 · PinkVilla · Jun 2025
Kannappa has heart but that's not enough. The devotional tale has a stirring climax but is hampered by a slow first half, weak visual effects, and uneven storytelling.
Dhoom Dhaam
2025 · PinkVilla · Feb 2025
Dhoom Dhaam is a genuinely enjoyable comedy-thriller that thrives on its fast-paced execution, stellar performances, and lighthearted vibe. While it may not offer a groundbreaking plot or deep emotional resonance, it succeeds as a fun, escapist film that delivers on its promise of entertainment.
Baby John
2024 · PinkVilla · Dec 2024
Baby John attempts to tackle a serious social issue but falls short due to its superficial treatment and over-reliance on overused narrative tropes. While the action sequences and background score are commendable, the film fails to provide a nuanced or innovative take on its subject matter.
Munjya
2024 · PinkVilla · Jun 2024
Munjya is quite literally a horror show after a promising start, with the film failing to maintain its initial intrigue and delivering a disappointing viewing experience.
Amar Singh Chamkila
2024 · PinkVilla · Apr 2024
Amar Singh Chamkila is fresh and quirky, offering an engaging musical-drama experience with strong performances from Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.
Yodha
2024 · PinkVilla · Mar 2024
Yodha directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani among others, doesn't soar, instead crashes.
Dunki
2023 · PinkVilla · Dec 2023
Rajkumar Hirani has created an impeccable fusion of his cinema and Shah Rukh Khan's. The result is Dunki, a film that has the ability to stand the test of time and be regarded as a modern-day classic. Dunki is a largely rewarding experience best served in theatres.
Jaane Jaan
2023 · PinkVilla · Sep 2023
Jaane Jaan is a terrific film and among the best thrillers to come out of India in recent times. The film is very well paced and is totally gripping, engrossing and engaging. It is a must watch for those who enjoy films in the thriller space.
Bholaa
2023 · PinkVilla · Mar 2023
Bholaa primarily rides on well-designed action scenes directed tactfully by Ajay Devgn and his team. It has presented the 'Mass Maharaja' just as he deserves to be presented though the adaptation warranted a better screenplay and pacing in the second half.
