Rohit Bhatnagar's Film Reviews
-
Even though the filmmaker tried hard to match up to the standards set by Abhishek Kapoor in ‘Rock On’, he unfortunately failed in his attempt.
-
‘Mirzya’ is a flop show in totality. I wouldn’t recommend it even to art film lovers, rather catch a nice play over the weekend.
-
‘Banjo’ is a light-hearted entertainer which is just like any other music based film. Looks like, the filmmaker was trying hard to match up to the standards set by ‘Rock On’ but fails to do so. The film is certainly a one time watch.
-
Though the film has a few scary scenes, it ends up being a clichéd love story instead of a horror flick. The music by Jeet Ganguly, Sangeet and Sidharthy Haldipur is melodious, especially the title track. However, the movie doesn’t really offer you a solid reason for watching it. ‘Raaz Reboot’ isn’t a must watch this week, catch it only if you are an ardent fan of the Raaz franchise.
-
Even though Nawaz performs well in ‘Freaky Ali’, the film is surely not worth the ticket price. Since Baar Baar Dekho also released this Friday, pick this only if you are an ardent Nawazuddin Siddiqui fan. The film holds no promise of entertaining you throughout.
-
Kids might like the film considering it’s a superhero flick, but ‘A Flying Jatt’ doesn’t fly and sinks without a trace.
-
It doesn’t help, however, that the movie is clichéd. Telling a story of 2016 BCE in the present day can be problematic if it’s not made well, and that’s Mohenjo Daro’s downfall.
Watch ‘Mohenjo Daro’ if you’re still stuck in the ‘80s or ‘90s, or just enjoy a steaming mug of coffee in the rains instead. -
What starts off as a cringe fest initially graduates to be repelling over the course of the film. Of course it’s not the best way to spend this weekend!
-
‘7 Hours To Go’ is not a good pick unless you want to witness a murder mystery of 114 minutes and wouldn’t mind leaving the theatre with a muddled head.
-
Raman Raghav 2.0 has only good performances to watch else the film is surely not worth your ticket price. Since there are multiple releases this Friday, pick this only if you are an ardent Nawazzudin Siddiqui or Vicky Kaushal fan, because the film holds no promise of entertaining you.
