In short, The Karate Kid enters Bloodsport and appears in a hurry to become Ong-Bak without losing the essential Bollywood qualities. Baaghi shines only in patches.

To call it slapstick would be an insult to the audience’s sensibilities because the jokes are stale and the situations humourless.
The real outrage here is how can someone make a story with Santa-Banta, the epitome of two-liners, such a lacklustre affair?

Vikram Bhatt is just juggling with the idea of cheap thrills without actually putting anything substantial on offer. So, it won’t make any difference if you call Love Games, Hate Story 4.

Too much breakfast and coffee table drama make this well intentioned film lose steam. Ki & Ka isn’t a strong voice against gender stereotyping, but it’s one of its kind in mainstream Hindi film industry, and that makes it notice-worthy.

John Abraham … err … Rocky Handsome is a very average film with some finely executed action sequences on display. But, make no mistake: Don’t expect anything more from this film.

Teraa Surroor’s music is its biggest attraction, provided you’re a Himesh fan like me. The first half keeps featuring one song after another and you feel blessed. But then comes the interval, following which the movie turns into an illogical chase that ends nowhere. Even the movie’s glossy cinematography and sleek editing couldn’t be of much help.
Himesh Reshammiya has tried hard, but it’s still not working for him.

Jai Gangaajal is just another attempt at making a blockbuster, but it lacks the depth of Gangaajal and Apharan. Still, there’s enough for the audience to keep whistling and clapping. Priyanka Chopra is the new ‘Dabangg’.

You can still watch Tere Bin Laden: Dead or alive, but it won’t give you the same punch as the original. Keep your expectations low and you may come out of the hall laughing.

To be fair with the team of Sanam Re, it’s not a bad watch. It’s not a great watch either. The film starts off on a promising note, but soon goes off the track. However, it could still be your Valentine’s movie. We know how desperately you need it!

Ghayal Once Again is a throwback to Sunny Deol’s angry common man persona made during the ‘90s. It’s a terribly made film with nothing much to offer except Narendra Jha’s performance as the suave villain. I have borne the pain so that you can live in peace. The ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ shows its age and gives you enough time to duck. So duck.
