Despite flaws, Balki is definitely a brave director who has attempted something new in Shamitabh. The concept is novel and he deserves a pat on the back for it. He loses his grip somewhere during the transition from sarcasm to irony, still he gives the glimpses into his latent talent. Certainly an able director.

The climax is strikingly similar to Argo, but with a little lesser planning and tension. Baby is not overtly dramatic and that saves the day towards the ending. The tempo is just perfect and the pace suits the situation. It’s a thriller in every sense; however Akshay getting calls from his wife in the middle of mission somehow hampers the fluidity. This reminds me of the scene where Mumbai Police Commissioner Anupam Kher receives a call from an insurance agent in a tense scene of A Wednesday. That was funny though.

PK is a fun film with proper dose of ‘gyaan’. It’s a film that shouldn’t be missed and it’s brave because it attempts to create a better world. Another winner from Rajkumar Hirani. It would be hard to stop it from owning the box-office as well.

Sulemani Keeda is a perfect example of a well-made, low-budget independent film. It’s engaging, entertaining and witty. Watch it, you won’t be disappointed.

Rang Rasiya is much more than just a period film. It’s a statement on behalf of people who reject intolerance and are continuously striving for a new India which will give space to free voice. It’s a piece of art.

Daawat-e-ishq is not a film to miss this weekend. For me, Aditya Roy Kapoor is the show-stealer in DEI. A delicious watch.

‘Chor Chor Super Chor’ is an intelligent film which has all the ingredients of a sleeper hit. It’s a fantastic watch this weekend for its quirky narrative. You can pick ‘Chor Chor Super Chor’ for its jovial moments.

Overall, ‘Iron Man 3’ is a story told on a grand canvas which is capable enough of engaging you for 130 minutes but don’t look for any ideological deviation of Iron Man even if the world is changing fast.

Overall, ’10 ml Love’ is brisk, funny and refreshing. The film’s pace and witty humour have the ability to grip you for close to two hours. A very good watch this weekend.

Overall, ‘Chakravyuh’ is a well intentioned and finely crafted film, which shies away from taking any stand. A good watch for the people who believe that India has progressed a lot and things go just fine if your stock exchange functions smoothly. And yes, claps for the last ultimate voice-over of the film.
