• There’s two ways to do an ‘army’ film. one is about war, tragedy and human loss. Another one is to make it like a secret agent/spy thriller. This one goes the other way but lacks the pace that is needed to keep the viewer interested.

  • Sadly the film doesn’t do justice to both the newcomers. Nothing unique about the screenplay. Ordinary direction. It’s a long time since this kind of lover story has been seen on the screen. Just when you thought that the formula had been forgotten Heropanti tries to revives it. Tiger shows huge potential in action and dance but director fails to exploit it fully.

    Watch it for the newcomers.

  • Everyone who cribs that Bollywood doesn’t attempt good films, must go see this.

  • The first half is light and breezy and the second dramatic and emotional, perhaps a better balance would have helped the post interval portion which seems heavy.

  • You know that when you go to see a David Dhawan film that it’s a Bollywood fantasy film. Rajpal Yadav does the same role he has done in a million films before. In the mood for a madcap film? Main Tera Hero is the answer.

  • Watch it for the endearing Jackky Bhagnani and the inimitable Farouque Sheikh.

  • Queen is irresistible. Highly recommended. A must-see film. You will leave the theatre with your heart humming happily.

  • The film is titled ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ but it is more about parenthood ke side effects. The second half gets a bit heavy and stretched. But the climax saves the film.

  • A daring attempt by Imtiaz, a glorious showcase of India (better than any Incredible India campaign) and a superlative performance by Alia Bhatt makes Highway a must-watch.

  • There are some poignant moments in the friendship between the two heroes – and that’s the crux of the film. This is what you call in movie terminology a guy’s film – loads of action, attitude and masala. Abbas is superb when it comes to projecting heroism of his lead protagonists.
