If you’re looking for a edgy thriller with some romance and great songs, Ek Villian is for you.

Fresh and funny, this is a small film with a big heart. Shot on a shoe-string budget, and no star power, Filmistaan relies on it’s script and its actors to carry the film. And they both do a wonderful job. Both Sharib and Innamulhaq are perfectly cast and delight with their performances. The developing friendship between the two is captured beautifully. Sunny’s obsession with Bollywood is something that most people will relate to.

If you are a Bollywood fan, you cannot miss this one.

There’s two ways to do an ‘army’ film. one is about war, tragedy and human loss. Another one is to make it like a secret agent/spy thriller. This one goes the other way but lacks the pace that is needed to keep the viewer interested.

Everyone who cribs that Bollywood doesn’t attempt good films, must go see this.

The first half is light and breezy and the second dramatic and emotional, perhaps a better balance would have helped the post interval portion which seems heavy.

You know that when you go to see a David Dhawan film that it’s a Bollywood fantasy film. Rajpal Yadav does the same role he has done in a million films before. In the mood for a madcap film? Main Tera Hero is the answer.
