Shamitabh may not appeal to the masses for its unique storyline and is more so for the niche audiences. The brilliant performances by Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan and an emotional climax make up for this faulty plot that drags post interval. For its novel ideas and stellar showcasing of acting talents.

Baby is a must-watch film with rich content. This action thriller will woo you if you are a fan of watching raw action where blood spills and guns are trotted. An honest work that dares to bare terrorism and its religious connection. What I loved most about the film was its quality to hook you.

Ugly is a mean, dark and unsettling film that will rip you off in its last scene. This film is for the strong-hearted. It is honest, bare and raw in all its sense. As disgusting as the characters are, you want to watch this film for their diverse personalities and just to see what goes on in warped brains that bring out the worst in them. I loved the film for its brave nature…

PK is a must watch and surely ends 2014 on a good note. When there is a confluence of smart direction, excellent content and an actor like Aamir Khan at hand, there is little that can go wrong. If you don’t end up asking the same questions as PK to yourself, then you may want to consider yourself an alien.

Do not assume that it is a documentary that will bore you with an informative story. This film is a must watch if you wish to know the plight of Bhopal residents, who are still fighting for justice. It is a dose of reality for both Indians and Americans, to learn how they brought on India’s worst chemical disaster.

Paresh Mokashi after giving us a gem like Harishchandrachi Factory, once again shows us that there is nothing more engaging than a human interest story. The fluidity with which this story moves makes you marvel every frame. Showing Pandharpur in another light, Mokashi gives us a new God through the eyes of young Dnyana who preaches science through his ‘Kirtans’ referring to Newton and Einstein as Gods.

This is one film that will make you laugh, blush, cry and bring you out of the theaters smiling. Again, it is a must-watch for one and all and the best part is, this one is a complete family entertainer. You may not be the one to believe in true love but there is no harm to watch it on celluloid. For me, this film certainly holds a special place and as lovesick as I can be, I would surely hope there are ‘Raj-Simran’ love stories out there, everywhere.
