On the whole, BODYGUARD works for varied reasons — it has a simple, but captivating story with a dramatic twist in the tale, the chemistry between the lead actors is perfect and the music is well juxtaposed in the narrative. But its biggest USP is, without doubt, Salman Khan. He carries the film on his broad and brawny shoulders and that alone is the imperative reason for watching this film. BODYGUARD should emerge his third festive hit and fourth super-success at the ticket window. Expect a hurricane called BODYGUARD to strike at the box-office.

On the whole, SAHI DHANDHE GALAT BANDE is what I would call a topical, socially responsible, thought-provoking cinema. A film that has scope for discussions and debates. It addresses, quite successfully at that, an existing critical issue that the country faces — the effect of dislodgment of people. A decent watch!

On the whole, NOT A LOVE STORY shocks and stuns, which only goes to prove how impactful the film is. But, most importantly, it reiterates the age-old adage, anger is short-lived madness and how things can change for worse at the spur of the moment. It must be said that NOT A LOVE STORY is amongst Ramgopal Varma’s best works. An intense mindbender, NOT A LOVE STORY is a wonderful illustration of how the accurate approach to storytelling can levitate a film. Try not to miss this one!

This one’s more for spectators with refined tastes and sensibilities. It’s a film for a more evolved, mature and cinema-literate audience that’s geared up to embrace and support newer genres of cinema.

On the whole, CHILLAR PARTY is not just for kids, but for grownups as well. A story of grit and determination, it works not just as an entertainer, but also advocates a message rather strongly. People who can’t absorb brazen, grimy and unabashed language might abhor it; in fact, it’s not for the straitlaced moralists or purists. It’s for those who have a strong belly, with an appetite for adult comedy and cuss words. Its wittiness may astound and astonish you. I viewed the Hinglish version, but I understand that the Hindi interpretation of the movie is so impactful that it renders you speechless. Eventually, DELHI BELLY works big time predominantly for the reason that it’s a pioneering motion picture, an incredible film that dares to pierce into an untapped and brand new terrain. The unblemished, racy screenplay coupled with super performances and a chartbusting musical score will make it a WINNER all the way.
