• Singh is Bliing has some genuinely funny moments and Lara Dutta brings a certain freshness to the film. Watch it if you’ve waited long enough for Akshay to play a Sardar again.

  • Calendar Girls is Madhur Bhandarkar’s weakest attempt at trying to revisit his old formula and create something interesting. Stay away.

  • Katti Batti has a promising start, but a weak script and some run of the mill moments kills the chances of it turning into something worth your time and money.

  • Sooraj and Athiya show immense promise. Unfortunately, Hero doesn’t do justice to their potential.

  • Brothers is a decent watch, but if you want your money’s worth, then I recommend watching the original Warrior.

  • Drishyam is worth a watch. It has a strong engaging second half that will have you on the edge of your seat. Watch it for some terrific performances from Ajay and Tabu.

  • Surrender yourself to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and let him win you over with his child-like charm. A must watch for those who complained that Salman doesn’t try anything different, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the ticket to buy this weekend!

  • …might work for you if you just want to enjoy some cool dance numbers. There is little in the film apart for that to entertain you.

  • …is disappointing because the promo really pumped me up for some serious dramatics, instead what we get is a wafer thin plot and lead actors hamming it up beyond belief. This Kahaani fails to impress!

  • …boasts of a stellar ensemble, now only if we could say the same about the writing! You might want to get off this ship half way.
