Don’t be surprised if you don’t quite get the purpose of how things unfold in Atomic Blonde ’s climax. In any case, switch off your brain, come for Theron and stay for the action.

Theron doesn’t so much as dominate Atomic Blonde as steadily subjugate every other soul in the film — and those in the audience — into her complete command. She is most definitely atomic, but I’d try to do better than calling her a blonde. Don’t miss it

McAvoy lights up his scenes, but it is Theron’s unchanging visage and her claim to the female Bond crown that steer the show from one head-scratching but ravishing scene to the next.
