M Cream Reviews and Ratings
-
Overall, watch the film only if you want to encourage new talent.
-
M Cream is incomprehensible in parts, poignant in others but it is mostly a pointless movie. Though brimming with raw energy, the narrative lacks vision to use it right.
-
The film is as aimless and pointless as its protagonists, and Agneya Singh is no Richard Linklater or Gus Vant Sant who can create magic with a leisurely film about lost young folks (Dazed and Confused, SubUrbia, My Own Private Idaho).
-
A pretentious little film that’s so cliche ridden, you wish the four friends who have set out for the hills in search of a ‘legendary’ drug to smoke up, fall off some cliff.
-
At some point, Figs’ father (Tom Alter in an ill-fitting suit) shared, “You need to stop running if you want to find what you’re looking for.” For the audience, the answer lies outside the screen.
