Secret Soldier

“Secret Soldier is a spy-thriller with a strong premise, one that balances patriotism with a character-driven mystery about everyday people. The grounded approach, combined with solid performances, is an experience every viewer who wants to enjoy a patriotic, spy-thriller movie should consider.”

“Director Akki Viswanadha Reddy's debut film definitely looks interesting on paper, but when it comes to the narration, it completely goes wrong. The film is supposed to be a spy thriller, but director Akki Viswanadha Reddy narrates it in a mediocre way, with several silly and illogical scenes.”

“Secret Soldier attempts to blend espionage, friendship, and identity into an engaging thriller but struggles to create the desired impact. However, the screenplay lacks the tension and urgency required for a spy thriller. Despite its promising premise and genuine intentions, the film falls short due to uneven pacing and predictable storytelling.”

“Secret Soldier is a spy flick that follows the journey of two friends from different religions, but the issues creep in quickly as the narrative turns repetitive. The whole branding of Vali as a terrorist and subsequent scenes reek of amateurishness. In the end, what we have is a movie where the narrative feels rushed from the start, with bland and lifeless spy sequences and no thrill.”
