Send Help

Rachel McAdams gets a film that lets all aspects of her shine, without distractions of any sort; all women exasperated with playing nice and 'looking nice' to bosses get their day in the sun (and sand); and all men are shown how defenceless they are not wearing the pants.

Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien kill it in Sam Raimi's "Send Help," a hilarious horror comedy about a crash landing and C-suite cruelty.

With its sharp writing, relentless tension, and deliciously twisted power play, the savagery is best. A savage and darkly delicious showdown that must not be missed.

Send Help is a delicious premise that Raimi gleefully milks for multiple interpretations, with mood shifts, tonal zigzags and gleeful unpredictability that keeps you slightly on edge even when laughing. Rachel McAdams is in fine fettle as the socially awkward yet razor-sharp Linda, handling multiple emotional and moral arcs with effortless assurance, while her chemistry with Dylan O'Brien's Bradley crackles throughout this gloriously genre-fluid experience.

Send Help is a survival thriller that places Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien in a tense, often darkly funny battle against nature and each other. Directed by Sam Raimi, the film uses survival to explore power, entitlement and quiet personal transformation.

Send Help is such a crowd-pleasing success because he's put it all together with elements of a number of different genres, and it can't be defined by any one of them. McAdams is simply terrific in navigating the journey of this character and she never misses a beat. Send Help is the first movie gem of 2026, a devilish treat and welcome respite from the real world.
