The Croods Reviews
6
Simplistic, yet funny in generous doses and even occasionally moving, 'The Croods' has enough to entertain young audiences. I'm going with three out of five and a recommendation to take the kids.

...you don't wander about that much as the journey, complete with fantastical plants and animals, is interesting and funny enough -- that too, without any songs.
7
Young audiences will soak up plenty of colour and relate to the bunch of goofy characters from prehistoric times. Briskly paced, the escapades of the surviving clan of cave dwellers also manage to provide a family-friendly message about filial duty, co-existence and self-discovery.
7
Zany, zippy, meaningful and sweet, there is never a single dull moment in The Croods.

A fresh, fun and mostly footloose feature, you wish there was more to the story than just a race 'into the light'. The premise's inherent simplicity is just as easily its only undoing.

One of the finest animations produced in recent years with stunning description the hardship that the caveman encountered challenging nature’s fury; opening up his wisdom to understand nature’s realm is superbly dealt with excellent 3D graphics with eye capturing stunning lighting effects and the superb technical support on animating the characters to the realities is unimaginable and commendable. The most wholesome animation movie I've seen. Technically, it is plainly superb. But what I like about the movie is that you don't feel like you are watching an animated movie. You feel like you are watching a real human story. Credit goes to the screenplay writers, but also to all those creative people who created very natural, normal and convincing characters and their movements and expressions. The other thing I like about the film is its positive ending. The inter generational conflict between Daughter and Dad ends up in each one understanding the other better and reuniting in a flush of love and affection. A film that gives great food for thought for families in the West or East.
