The Warriorr

The Warriorr is a masala-laden commercial pot-boiler that's meant to be watched over a shared bucket of popcorn. While the plot point of a doctor becoming a cop might sound too outlandish on paper, the performances make it worth your time, especially Ram's transformation from a naïve chocolate boy to a hardened individual with ease.

'The Warrior' is definitely not that film. This movie seems to be a potpourri of some of his earlier films where the hero plays a cop who is out to get the bad man and remove evil from society. The story is highly predictable with cliched dialogues and poorly written.

The Warrior is a tried and tested formula film which does not offer anything new to the audience. So it is disappointing that The Warrior is just a loud film without any subtlety to it.

The Warrior is an example of the director's creative bankruptcy and incompetence to reinvent his storytelling skills to suit contemporary times. There is very little originality in this film that is worthy of being discussed or even dissed.

The Warriorr's lifeless storyline is made worse with its generic scene writing and a template screenplay structure. Even the lead characters lack depth... It's disappointing that a film that attempts to try so many things lacks in execution.
