‘Timeout’ raises a subject that is usually not tackled with any seriousness in our movies, places it at the heart of the story. For that alone it deserves props.

Time Out may not have a hard-hitting story but it does make you think. Under its Richie Rich garb, lies a thought that's enlightening and liberating. Both the lead actors Chirag Malhotra and Pranay Pachauri are aptly cast.

Timeout could have been better if it had received a little supervision from someone with more experience. The film’s plot is not bad, it’s just a little botched up with a lot of elements.

A decently played out drama about adolescence, sexuality and growing-up concerns in an upper class set-up where free thinking bohemianism is just a façade for traditional conservatism and bigotry. Though the story doesn’t develop well enough to provide thought-provoking moments, the sincerity and noble intentions of this enterprise is unmistakable.

Rikhil Bahadur’s film is a gem that you rarely get to see these days. It is a family film for all age groups, that tackles the sensitive issue of homosexuality with maturity. A film that you must take some "time out" and watch with your family and friends.

The movie talks about issues that are very contemporary and need to be brought out. The plot appeals to all age groups. It takes you back to school, to first crushes, to the times when one discovers their own sexuality, to the times when one looked upto someone & to sibling relationships. It is not to be confused with a juvenile film. The movie has a very mature outlook towards sensitive social questions and is aptly titled "Timeout" to suggest that sometimes it's just better to step back, assess, analyse and find a solution to any issue in life, be it social or personal. I give it a solid rating because for once the film does not graze the subject but submerges the audience into the core concept without beating around the bush. It is fresh and upbeat throughout and is an excellent rendition of what goes on in today's modern "liberal" households!

A Movie with a personality of. It's own! Loved the peppy numbers...People should applaud for those acting skills of Pranay Pachauri for playing an unusual role of gay so brilliantly.the homosexuality has been felt with so beautifully by Rikhil and Shachi. We should be proud of them as without much help thrashed to do a much better job than the veterans in the film Industry.
