On the whole, if you can forget few flaws Vellai Illaa Pattadhari is a must watch movie.

There are not dull moments in the movie and it is Dhanush’s show all the way.

A completely crowd pleasing silver-jubilee outing for Dhanush

Undoubtedly, Dhanush is the star of the movie and he once again delivers a splendid performance. His expressions, emotions and dialogues aptly portray angst, frustration and disappointment of his character. The rest of the star cast has also done a great job in supporting him. The music by Anirudh is also very good.

Velai Illa Pattadhari is a befitting 25th film for Dhanush. The film irresistibly succeeds in what it sets out to do, to entertain and it looks rightly enough with a wafer-thin plot like this.
