Dangal
2016 · BehindWoods · Dec 2016
Aamir Khan hits it out of the park yet again with another emotional masterpiece!

Kabali
2016 · BehindWoods · Jul 2016
Rajinikanth in a different dimension, but Kabali might not work for everyone. Theatres which are known to reverberate for Rajinikanth, seem a lot more silent for Kabali.

A Aa
2016 · BehindWoods · Jun 2016
We get to see some great visuals from the lens of Natarajan Subramanian and Dudley. It looks very colorful setting the mood of the film right. Mickey J Meyer's songs are passable and could have been better. None of the songs actually leave an impact and it is mostly saved by the flashy visuals. Verdict: A decent sugarcoated family drama!

24
2016 · BehindWoods · May 2016
Absolutely no time taken in setting up the plot or leeway given to the audience to settle down - Beware, for this particular film, it is a mandate to watch it from the first for you to enjoy the complete essence of the story; please avoid walking into the cinema hall late!

Manithan
2016 · BehindWoods · Apr 2016
Climax dialogues, especially long ones loaded with sentiment are a sure winner with audience. You will spot a similar closure in this drama. In case of Manithan, if that dialogue had been coupled with convincing judicial aspects, the output could have been even impacfful. Nevertheless, overall an enjoyable fare!

Pugazh
2016 · BehindWoods · Mar 2016
A premise on political drama could have easily hit the right chord if it had been handled with a lot more care. Pugazh falters on this note and ends up being a mediocre product.

Kanithan
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
Despite its flaws, this savvy thriller is worth watching once mainly for some exhilarating action sequences, Atharvaa's top class performance and a few adrenaline pumping moments.

Aarathu Sinam
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
Arivazhagan's Aarathu Sinam is definitely a progressive Tamil movie that deserves a watch for its sincere attempt at the less explored investigative crime thriller genre.

Miruthan
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
For audiences who have not seen Hollywood zombie films, Miruthan would be a new experience. And kudos definitely to Shakthi Sounder Rajan for attempting something different from the usual themes that Tamil cinema is known to churn out film after film. Verdict: A new attempt in Tamil cinema that has its share of thrills...

Sethupathi
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
To sum up on a positive note, Sethupathi is still an enjoyable entertainer, with power packed performance from Vijay Sethupathi. Verdict: A rehashed tale with good mass moments and energetic performances...

Garam
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
Sundar has managed to pack a punch with the narrative style of the movie and the climax tugs at your heart. Besides, he has also diversified from his style of movie making to take up a serious subject of friendship and betrayal. On the whole, but for a few glitches here and there, Nagaram is not bad a watch. Verdict: This city is gritty!

Visaranai
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
Some may call Visaranai to be a violent film, while most of the others may say it is a brilliant piece of art that is so real and suspenseful. But if you're a fan of crime thriller or film that depicts pain, do not miss it! Verdict: Visaranai, a must watch uniquely treated crime thriller that represents true cinema.

Bangalore Naatkal
2016 · BehindWoods · Feb 2016
Overall, despite its lively storyline, Bangalore Naatkal is let down by the treatment and casual performances. Verdict: This remake might just not sweep you off your feet

Aranmanai 2
2016 · BehindWoods · Jan 2016
Aranmanai 2 has nothing different to offer than its antecessor, except for Siddharth, Trisha and the magnitude. Verdict: Aranmanai again all over, with minor modifications, but no lesser in terms of entertainment

Rajini Murugan
2016 · BehindWoods · Jan 2016
Rajini Murugan is a safe bet to bank your money on if you want to watch a film with no expectation but just to spend your two and a half hours laughing.

Gethu
2016 · BehindWoods · Jan 2016
Toting it up, Gethu could have worked better, if the writing was stronger. The director's lofty ambitions in narrating a thriller are palpable, but it falls short of want of more interesting elements.

Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam
2016 · BehindWoods · Jan 2016
A watchable, bold, vintage Selvaraghavan story about two contrasting individuals, you wish had more consistent screenplay

Pasanga 2
2015 · BehindWoods · Dec 2015
Do a favor to Tamil cinema, watch Pasanga 2, let other superstars try what Suriya has!

Eetti
2015 · BehindWoods · Dec 2015
...a decent entertainer with its fair share of merits and a few drawbacks.

Urumeen
2015 · BehindWoods · Dec 2015
An interestingly convoluted tale woven with less engaging screenplay.

Thoongaavanam
2015 · BehindWoods · Nov 2015
If one has to complain, it must be about the slight slow pace of the movie. On the whole, Thoongavanam, though looks to be a long night, is a happening one!

144
2015 · BehindWoods · Nov 2015
Long story short, 144 is like the good-old Road Runner and Tom & Jerry kind of movie. You know it doesn't make much sense, but that doesn't stop you from having a good laugh. Verdict: All the ups and downs considered, 144 is still 133 minutes of all-smile time.

Uppu Karuvaadu
2015 · BehindWoods · Nov 2015
The film at the end of the day might make you wear a pleasant smile on your face, but one might wonder what is actually missing in it. It has some fun elements for which you might laugh your heart out, but is it thoroughly satisfactory? It might not, at least for some. Verdict: A decent flick that could crack you up!

Akhil - The Power Of Jua
2015 · BehindWoods · Nov 2015
Akhil has got its own share of positive moments but a little more tightening in the execution could have helped the matters more. Verdict: Interesting story which requires better execution...

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
2015 · Nov 2015
The film may appeal more to senior citizens and middle aged people who are now hooked to TV soaps. Sooraj Barjatya may succeed in pulling these folks back to the cinema hall as PRDP follows the typical template that is shown in family soaps nowadays and is a throwback to Indian films of the 70s and 80s.

Vedalam
2015 · BehindWoods · Nov 2015
When there is a mass hero, action comes along like his shadow and Vedalam has its fair share of 'thiruvizha' action moments resulting from the revenge theme of the film. There are three hunky villains falling into the commercial cinema template completely.

Kanche
2015 · BehindWoods · Oct 2015
Kanche is a well-made social-war film packed with some of the best dialogues you could get. However, its presentation could have been better.

Naanum Rowdydhaan
2015 · Oct 2015
Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is sure to entertain you and your family this festival season. This is a film that you can just relax, sit back and enjoy with a tub of butter popcorn!

Singh Is Bling
2015 · Oct 2015
In all, Singh is Bliing is a much better outing, compared to Prabhu's recent disasters like Action Jackson and Rajkumar, thanks to the lead pair. If you are someone who enjoys mindless comedy then you ought to enjoy it even more. Switch off your brains for some harmless fun.

Puli
2015 · BehindWoods · Oct 2015
Looking beyond few issues, Puli is a lavishly made mainstream fantasy entertainer with good visual effects which should be encouraged...

Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum
2015 · BehindWoods · Jul 2015
One of the downers of NPNO is its cheesy dramatic screenplay which gives a soap opera effect. Some section of the audience may find NPNO as disjointed but having said that there could also be a fair share of takers who might grab it with open hands for some funny moments. Verdict: Screams of Juvenility and lacks a grip!

Maari
2015 · BehindWoods · Jul 2015
Maari is a very honest masala flick made to satisfy the mass audience. Verdict: Enjoy the unlimited mass elements offered by Dhanush and Anirudh!

Bāhubali: The Beginning
2015 · BehindWoods · Jul 2015
Summing it up, Baahubali is a terrific testimony to what Indian films can do in terms of grand and flamboyant film making and would surely be a landmark film in the annals of Indian film history.

Papanasam
2015 · BehindWoods · Jul 2015
In a scenario, where the young Tamil cinema is busy experimenting rapidly on the unexplored variety of genres, Papanasam comes as a pleasant change with simplicity, realism, family bonding and basic human emotions as its core subjects.

Kaaka Muttai
2015 · BehindWoods · Jun 2015
Simplicity is the soul of Kaakka Muttai which helps it earn its brownie points. When this is combined with noble intentions and good execution, it is little wonder that the film has earned all its accolades. In all, the beautifully made Kaakka Muttai will easily be one of the gems of Tamil cinema that will please all types of audience. Go for it!

Demonte Colony
2015 · BehindWoods · May 2015
Toting up, Demonte Colony made by talented technicians is worth a watch when you want to get spooked.

Uttama Villain
2015 · BehindWoods · May 2015
When you walk out at the end of the film, after the credits roll, there sure would be a lump in your throat and you would tip your hat in favor of this amazing artist called Kamal Haasan. Take a bow sir! Screaming of mastery in every department, Uttama Villain is True cinema

Vai Raja Vai
2015 · BehindWoods · May 2015
Vai Raja Vai is surely a well woven tale of an ordinary man with a single extraordinary possession and the greed of people around him. Aishwaryaa has also brilliantly ended the movie with a potential lead to a joint-sequel of Vai Raja Vai and another celebrated movie. Are we looking at a potential flick featuring Dhanush and Gautham Karthik?

Kanchana 2
2015 · BehindWoods · Apr 2015
Though the CGI work in the film's climax looks slightly unconvincing, Rajavel Olhiveeran has coped all the falls up with some glossy visuals and massy scenes in between, making the overall production value look cool.

O Kadhal Kanmani
2015 · BehindWoods · Apr 2015
Okay, moral of the story - One fine morning, Mani Ratnam got up and decided to make something special for all young people out there. He then makes OK Kanmani, and in style !

Kaaki Sattai
2015 · BehindWoods · Mar 2015
Siva Karthikeyan entertains, but the story's handling could have been better...

Yennai Arindhaal...
2015 · BehindWoods · Feb 2015
Yennai Arindhaal is a feeling, a learning that just takes sometime to tell you the story, by not dramatizing events and exaggerating factors. Finally, Gautham should be credited for making a movie not for Ajith fans, but one which Ajith's fans will enjoy! Isn't that what good cinema is about?

I
2015 · BehindWoods · Jan 2015
Ultimately, it's an amalgamation of Masters at play which works to a larger extent because of their huge efforts.

Meaghamann
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
Go watch Meaghamann if you are excited by the idea of a serious action film with some style and intelligence. Magizh Thirumeni's screenplay is plausible with the right cinematic liberties.

Kappal
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
...Kappal is an attempted laugh riot that might just work for the majority.

Kayal
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
Toting up, Prabhu Solomon's Kayal is a beautiful love story complemented by amazing visuals, exemplary music, some great performances and a greater writing....

Lingaa
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
Rajinikanth's mesmerizing energy let down by writing. But give it your time for Superstar's non-diminishing charisma.

Ra
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
A fairly well made thriller by debutants with strong technical backing...

Appuchi Gramam
2014 · BehindWoods · Dec 2014
At a time when we are bombarded with the same old, done to death stories, Appuchi Graamam comes as a breather and works for its simple, unpretentious narration.

Naaigal Jaakirathai
2014 · BehindWoods · Nov 2014
Giving so much importance to a dog over the hero, logical screenplay, duration of the film and a engaging climax are the positives of Naaigal Jaakirathai. This is arguably the only authentic dog based film after the well known Rama Narayan directed stories that had animals playing vital roles.

Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe
2014 · BehindWoods · Oct 2014
A story that interests you to a larger extent, which could have been done better

Poojai
2014 · BehindWoods · Oct 2014
All said and done, Poojai is still a watchable entertainer to spend time on, with your family on a festive day.

Kaththi
2014 · BehindWoods · Oct 2014
To sum up, Kaththi is a grand production which rides on Vijay's dual roles, the social interest angle and some impactful scenes which are part of the mix.

Madras
2014 · BehindWoods · Oct 2014
Madras, though on the longer side and venturing into predictable territory beyond a point, stands out for the presentation, the characterizations, the performances and for the unflinching direction efforts of Ranjith.

Yaan
2014 · BehindWoods · Oct 2014
A solid milieu and a nice story knot under utilized by weak writing.

Sigaram Thodu
2014 · BehindWoods · Sep 2014
An enjoyable thriller with a little less engaging first half.

Amara Kaaviyam
2014 · BehindWoods · Sep 2014
Amara Kaviyam has brilliant music, great visuals, good acting, wish it had left little more impact.

Anjaan
2014 · BehindWoods · Aug 2014
The predictable climax makes the whole product less impactful. One palpable connect towards the denouement is a life saver. Anjaan goes to the list of, 'Could have been better' movies.

Velaiyilla Pattathari
2014 · BehindWoods · Aug 2014
A completely crowd pleasing silver-jubilee outing for Dhanush
