• The movie takes an already used concept and gives it a new twist. But in our day and age, we need to know the full worth of what it means to be human. Only then we stand a chance at being human.

  • This movie doesn’t require a lot of thought process. You can leave your brain at home and enjoy a mindless comedy with the standard lines. If you are fond of canines, then watch the dog try to do his thing. On the whole, a family entertainer with terrible music. A decent attempt but it fails to make the grade. Watch the movie with your little ones (the human kind, don’t know if they allow dogs in the theatre).

  • Hercules is a good film compared to the other one that was inflicted on us. Dwayne Johnson does his part.

  • A movie about the quest for love. Sort of. In a way. Actually, a movie about the concept that love cannot be quantified but should be felt. In effect, this is a decent movie with the standard jokes and some really good ones. You will enjoy the moments when the fourth wall breaks. The insights are good and some are really funny. Virr Das does an enjoyable turn. The music, notably the soundtrack, make the movie come alive. Mala and Devika are a treat for the eyes. On the whole, Amit Sahni Ki List is worth a watch on the weekend, with your friends or your significant other.

  • The movie is an attempt at making a teenage relevant story come to life on the screen. In the end, it is an attempt. If you are fan of the book, you might enjoy the film or you might hate it. You can even compile a list of errors or discrepancies between the book and the film. You will enjoy seeing Willem Dafoe but he just doesn’t get enough screen time. All in all, either you will cry till your eyes turn bloodshot or you will roll your eyes till you strain them.

  • It is a movie for children. Designed to capture their attention, they will have a laugh at some of the gags. You can also enjoy this film if you are just looking forward to watching any animated feature.

  • Firstly it is a Himesh Bhai’s film. “Suroor” makes a comeback. The movie is good fun when you watch it with your buddies. You will nudge each other and make silly comments about the dialogues. This is a movie for the weekend. All you have to do is get your tickets, leave your brain behind and let the silliness take you over.

  • This movie takes patience to watch. So if you have nothing better to do and you want to watch a movie where you will laugh at the film and not with it, then this is for you.

  • This is an action movie with loads of stunts, explosions, fights and parkour. You can even think of it as Paul Walker‘s final finished work. Don’t think too much, the movie is all about taking your brain and leaving it at home. At the end of the day, you will see fists flying and people falling. Not Luc Besson‘s finest work, but it is passable, considering the other options. So sit back, and enjoy a remake.

  • The animation is alright. The details in the computer graphics are good. In 3D, you get to enjoy the depth of field, and the wonderful background. Other than that, it’s just another Hollywood remake gone awfully wrong.
